Re: Portland, Vic: North Shore Challenge 2019

Great report

Think I must try to do this comp next year. A bit of a drive from Coffs but looks like a great comp

Re: plastic kayak alternative to a stealth ?

Look at Viking

Their Profish Reload is the best plastic yak I've paddled and if I did not have my stealth that's the one I'd go for.
All other plastics I've paddled were square boxes in comparison.

Profish handles well in the surf as well and easy enough to handle on land loading etc.

Re: New yak recommendations

Just go the stealth. If you buy something else you'd just end up buying the stealth eventually

Re: Stealth Duo Mojo continues Coffs Harbour

Thanks guys

Forgot to mention the 2nd spotty had a friend chasing it to the yak. Paul had to give the hammerhead a nudge with the gaff to get him away

Milly took it all in her stride

Stealth Duo Mojo continues Coffs Harbour =VIDEO

G'day all First post in many moons. I've not posted in a long time and my fishing has been sporadic at best. Life has been busy with a few curve balls thrown in. There was a geographical error with Paul's gaff.

It was still in his shed

Re: Reading weather sites

I find Willy weather to be highly inaccurate Days when they predicted a 12knot SE turns out to have a 18knot NW An APP and website I use is windyty It's been spot on, even on days when Seabreeze, Willyweather and Wind guru had different predictions Windyty is now my goto when looking at wind Cheers ...
