Re: Major Battery Install Fail!

I haven’t had a chance to wet the AI or Revo yet. It seems every weekend I’m either setting up the new house or off to a pizz up somewhere. The liver is getting a good work out. :lek:

Re: Major Battery Install Fail!

Bloody hell Bob, you should kicked the owner out of the shop for doing that to a revo. What a waste.

Re: Bundaberg Yak Fishing

No problems, give me a yell in the new year. It will certainly be great to go fishing in July without the ice of Canberra.

Re: Bundaberg Yak Fishing

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Your setup sounds like you have all your options covered. I try and do something similar and have both my kayaks rigged with extras. I try and take as few extras as I can, as I found less is more with kayaks.

I’ll see you on water in the new year sometime.

Bundaberg Yak Fishing

So it looks like I have seen my last Canberra winter and I'm on the move north to Bundaberg at the end of the year.

Any local Bundy yakkers on here? Where's some spots to launch to yak for a fish?

Nice one.

I was going to have a fish tomorrow, but then I looked at the weather forecast. I should have gone today.

Will do. The wife likes visiting the Candelo markets so we will be back at some stage.

Ya, Redfin might see more posts than the natives. Freshwater fishing is hard yakka.

Re: Stand Alone Social Competitions.

How about some more freshwater species for those that don't get to fish the salt often?

Perhaps add Golden Perch, Redfin?

Merimbula Sat 5 Aug 17

I'm planning to fish Merimblua Lake on Sat 5 Aug 17 if anyone wants to tag along.

Will most likely launch early morning depending on how cold it is and fish to around lunch time.

Re: Lithium Battery for Minn Kota

Be prepared to take a big hit to the hip pocket. The Winston batteries have a good reputation.
