Re: Shoalhaven fresh water access

Yes, you can pay a day fee at both of those locations. You can also access the river from a purpose built canoe/kayak launch ramp at Salt Water Creek for free: https://goo.gl/maps/Qx6mZBnXNg22

Re: Garmin Striker 4 vs Lawrance hook 4 combo thoughts?

I've recently made the switch to Garmin with both our boats and both kayaks, so 4 sounders in total and they've been faultless. Chirp technology is amazing so if you can spend the extra, go for the Garmin Striker 4dv.

It's good to know they're in there and within easy reach in a yak.

Re: 7.5kg/16.5lb South Coast Snapper from the yak

It was a spare railblaza star port that I usually used for a camera, but decided to put the rod holder in incase I wanted to stand up. Gives me somewhere to chuck the rod while I use the paddle to move around like a SUP. Didn't use it, so not sure on the practicality of it yet.

7.5kg/16.5lb South Coast Snapper from the yak

Pretty stoked with yesterdays effort while fishing for Snapper in Jervis Bay out of our Feelfree Kayaks. We got on the water at about 5pm and had a small window to try and get some fish before night closed in on us. It was looking like it was going to be quiet, as neither of us were catching anythin...

Re: Our new FeelFree Lure 13.5's

How do they go in choppy conditions with the seat centre of gravity that high? Not sure just yet. Fished them in flat conditions on Friday morning and they were nice and stable, even with the seat up high, also makes it super comfortable to fish in at that hight. Tried it out with the seat dropped ...

Our new FeelFree Lure 13.5's

Been a while since I've been active on here, probably due to lack of owning a kayak after selling mine a few years ago. But we've just picked up 2x FeelFree Lure 13.5's and couldn't be happier! Itching to get them out on the water and looking forward to some new adventures while sitting comfortably ...

Re: FS: Brand New Duffrod Hystix 1-3kg 7'

Wish I could keep it. But there are more important things at the moment. Feels amazing in the hand. I bet most of my rods would become redundant if I did use it as I would favour it!
