Re: Looking for a travel rod under $200

Shimano does a nice Raider travel series, I have a 2-4 kg model and can't fault it for the dollars.

PeterInSa - sorry mate that's a sign line attachment that is no longer available not a pic of the setup, I haven't gotten around to updating my account yet.
I used to have a pic of the set up but it was deleted I think.

Re: Mounting 2 Kayaks on Landcruiser Roof

I used to regularly carry two yaks side by side, I used tent poles zip tied and extended out  I wouldn't recommend it but they never looked like moving, held three kayaks up there once too :egrin:

Re: New kayak for a big bloke

Another vote for the tempo, I owned one for 4 years, put it through hell and it loved it. I'm near on 6' and come in at 120kg and was more than comfortable on it, took it everywhere from skinny creeks to the brissy river in amongst all the traffic and not once felt uneasy. You can pick them up on gu...

Re: Wtb 1-3kg spinning outfit Brisbane

I have a 2-6lb 6'10 Zing that I'm selling for $50. It is basically new but there is a slight curve in the blank towards the tip, it hasn't affected the rod at all and I've caught a handful of fish on it with no problems.

Hello all, the time has come to part with my beloved Hobie Pro Angler 14, I absolutely love it and it is the best kayak money can buy but I have the boat bug and there is no sense having this and a boat. It is a 2013 model in the best colour, olive, has the vantage seat, turbo fins, upgraded rudder ...

Re: PA14. Sitting on the fence and requesting a push.

I was warned off getting a PA 14 when I was looking to upgrade from my Tempo, same old argument about it being a big, heavy beast that I would have no end of trouble loading and unloading, I bought one anyway and I have not regretted my decision once. I drive a 4wd wagon, off the shelf roof racks wi...
