Re: Jacks and more...

That’s a good day out right there. The diamond trev is cool. Can’t help you with the unknown one but looks like it would have given you a fair fight.

Well done!

BUT...
A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work

The fish are a bonus - it’s always nice just to be out there among it!

Ahhh who am I kidding...donuts suck! :idiot:

But keep up it...your luck will turn!

Cheers

Re: Another Nice Cod & New Yak PB!

Thanks Ozzy and Arpie.

Sure am Ozzy. Pretty handy to some nice water. Just a shame it is also a bloody long way to the salt.

Please Arpie don’t tell me that...god knows when I’ll get back up there...probably not before Oct/Nov

Good stuff Ads. A little bit of bad luck followed by a little bit of good luck. It sort’ve evened out

Sounds like you had a good trip anyway even if the Barra eluded you. Nice queenie and Jack tho.

Re: Nice Trout Cod

Thanks guys. From what I know 58cm is a pretty big Trout cod. Comments locally are that he/she is a very good size, and certainly the biggest I’ve caught. Most of my previous Trout cod have been around 20-30cm. Google says they go to 80-85cm so I’ll try catching this one again in a few years and see...

Re: Raby Bay, QLD kayak pontoon

Hi there, I can’t speak for the area but as far as fishing canals and along waterfront homes you’ll be fine.
