Re: Midcoast Social Outing - Lake St Clair - Oct 26-28th 2018

Ok Midcoasters, Just a bit of info.. We will be camping in the usual spot on the right as you drive in at the end of the bay. Camping is unpowered and will cost $23.50 per night. There are toilets and showers a short walk from where we camp. There will be a competition run with a few prizes and will...

At this stage we're looking at first light Sunday morning, but keeping an eye on the wind. If its blown out, may revise for Monday. Let us know if you're keen to jo...

Unexpected Surface Session @ St Clair - 22/09/18

Gday KFDUers, Put this up before the upgrade, but seems to have dropped off over the upgrade... so here it is again. Fished St Clair on Saturday morning, started off throwing Zman Slim Swimz, and got a couple of fish early. It then went quiet for about two hours, before I threw a soft shell cicada. ...

Re: Some Bass out of the Timber @ Lake St Clair - 02/09/2018

Little clip of how handy the new MD180 drive is in and around the timber.
Got snagged up, and the ability to be able to reverse made lure retrieval a breeze.
(Slight language warning  )

Some Bass out of the Timber @ Lake St Clair - 02/09/2018

Gday KFDUers, Haven't posted a report for a while (shame on me!), so thought I better pull my finger out. Headed to Lake St Clair on Sunday morning, and was on the water just as the sun was coming up. Armed with new memory cards and power source for my camera, I hoped to be able to capture the whole...

Re: My first Kayak

That's one sexy Beast! You'll love it! Were you picking it up around 12:30pm? Roof topping it? I dropped into HWS on my way back from fishing the channel to pick up some spare parts James had organised for me. (Grey Navara, with an Olive PA12 on a trailer). I would of said G'day, but wasn't sure if ...

Have you geared yourself up for winter fishing? (Clothing wise). It can be bloody cold on Lake early in the morning. Cheers...
