Burrill lake

I will be staying at Burrill Lake Tourist Park this weekend in one of the drifter cabins.
Has anyone fished Burrill lake recently and how is it fishing? I haven't been here for a couple of years now

Re: Short Fishing Rods

I don't use short rods. Wouldn't they get tangled up at the front of the kayak?

Re: hobie seats

Where can you buy the triglides from XDCammer?
I will try the triglides and if that doesn't work I will try to install a different seat I do like the idea of extra storage under the seat though.
Also if anyone has installed a seat what are the pros and cons of it?
Cheers

hobie seats

Does anyone know whether you can buy the new hobie outback seats separate to fit the 2014 model? If you can't can you suggest a different seat to use with it? It's a good kayak the only problem with it is the seat gives me a sore back after 1 hour. I probably should have waited 8 months to get one t...

Type of fishing

I know this is a broad question but what is your favorite type of fishing?
Mine is a toss up between wading up a trout stream or native fishing out of the hobie.
cheers

Re: Winter fishing

There isn't a closed season on carp. I don't usually target carp I usually target Redfin and yellow belly. Cheers for the reply

Winter fishing

Is there any good fishing in winter around Canberra?
I usually don't fish past the Canberra Day long weekend in March.
I am getting a hobie outback this week so I will like to extend the season by a couple more months.
I will be going to Tuross at Easter time.
