Also the link doesn't work - so I did a bit of a fiddle and here it is for anyone that wants to live vicariously through Rob's catches!

Re: Shark got away

Wow! That's pretty intense! Hope the healing goes well. Pity you didn't have it on camera, you could have paid for some of the recovery with the revenue!
Glad you're doing ok thus far!

Re: Reloading mojo with a monster GT [w/ video]

nice stonker fish from the yak one of those rare catches you'll remember for a while I bet. only draw back of yak fishing is you cant put the hurt on like you can in a boat. but that's what makes it more fun isn't it. Thanks! Definitely something to remember! I think part of the problem is that you...

Re: Rosslyn Bay Doggies in the new Reload

Can't beat z man in the soft plastics. You're braver than me trying to get the hooks out of a two metre shark. Your fingers are more valuable than a few hooks , cut the line and let it go. Nice feed of fish , you must be a good cook. Not much biting in coffs harbour at the moment. Don't know about ...

Re: Rosslyn Bay Doggies in the new Reload

Nice report once again Adam. It's good to see a couple of nice Mackerel kept for the table too. Nothing better than a freshly caught Spotty Mackerel to feast on. Regards Bill Cheers Bill. I subsequently headed overseas for the first time, to Singapore, and whilst there the freezer died, then the fr...

Rosslyn Bay Doggies in the new Reload

My third session for the week, but today I was quite time limited. After school drop off, I quickly did a few jobs then raced down to the beach for a beach launch. The waves were non-existent but the water was a bit choppy around the headland, not the best for my gut, but I handled it fine in the Re...

Rosslyn Bay Macks with Rocky

It had been a while, but rocky was back in town and we finally got a chance to catch up. With some time off, I arranged to meet rocky at the marina with the intent on fishing inside. However, yesterday's GT enticed me out the front again in hopes of another big fish Paddling my GT of the Viking vari...

Reloading mojo with a monster GT [w/ video]

Hi folks, Video link at bottom. I've had a break from posting with the security certificate issue and then failing to sit down and write a trip report up, but hopefully can get back to sharing some of the love of the fishing! I recently resigned from my job and had time to collect a new Reload from ...

Looks like a top job andybear.

Is your unit the Striker Plus, and can you download Quickdraw maps for it from the Quickdraw community? If so, this would speed up the mapping process and you could just fill in the areas that haven't been mapped. If not, then bugger!

Re: Folding Trailer

One to consider may be the Easy Trailer. I have a standard setup that is several years old and kept intact outside. It's starting to do it tough with some rust. Stored inside would go better. They are foldable and so many options to configure. Check the site. They send you the kit and you build it. ...

Re: Luck

G'day MarkoFreto, It's definitely like that some days! 6 hours on the water on the weekend for a local kayak meet up and I got 4 fish and dropped two. I won the Estuary Cod section with a 30.5cm fish. A bit embarrassing! Everyone found it tough. One decent Jack and two just legal Flatties for 15 or ...

Boyne Tannum Hookup Report

Boyne Tannum Hookup – May 3-5, 2019 This report has been a little delayed due to issues getting pics up. For the first time I entered the Boyne Tannum Hookup this year. I was a late starter, leaving my entry until the last week when my wife said “yeah, you should do it.” I booked a motel room at Ben...
