Re: More school hours Barra

Man you're on fire! Some top fishing and pictures. Many a good fish to be had during office hours it seems. May have to have a sniff around up that way on our next Kinchant trip (Oct).
Thanks for sharing, a lot of time and effort goes into putting up these posts, much appreciated.......Al

Re: A little bit of Bass'n

Actually I saw the Carp as I was paddling along and thought they were big fat Bass. Then I saw the gold one. These were in the Upper Clarence and it's the first time I have seen them. Not sure how long they have been there. Biggest one would be round 1kg. The silver ones do look similar to a Bass, j...

A little bit of Bass'n

Monday afternoon I decided to head up to the upper reaches of one of our pristine waterways. The rivers are suffering somewhat from a lack of rain, so hopefully there will still be some flow. On arrival, though only just flowing, the river looks pristine, just hope the fish will oblige. Barometer is...

Re: Chasing the dream - Rocky to Warrnambool and back!

What a great trip. Well done on the Murray Cod. Certainly a good variety as well. Sad Arrawarra didn't turn it on for you. Water has finally begun to warm up here and Spanish are around. Thanks for sharing

Re: Bream on a Blade

Good job, took me years to get a Bream on a Blade. Oddly thats what they were made for. I caught Whiting, Ludderick, flathead but Bream mostly eluded me. Got a few since then but still not many.

Bass Fishing 2019

Finally I get out for a little Bass Action. Its a late start(10am) but there is still a few shadows along the bank. Though not actually biting there heads off, and no cicadas singing, a few fish did play the game. Surface lures were the go and when the hits came they were savage. Total over six hrs ...

Re: Unusual catch off Coffs (non yak)

Bluefish, quite common around the Islands of Coffs Harbour. Sometimes they are very dark and hard to distinguish from ordinary drummer and at other times show up almost electric blue. Used to see a few around Nora Head in my old Comp spearfishing days. Beautiful fish, happy to see them protected!

Some nice fish there, and lovely crisp, clear photos as well. Good luck with the fly tossing as well.
