Happy Anniversary to Me!!

Postby pdfarrell » Fri Sep 22, 2017 1:53 pm

This photo came up in my Facebook feed today from 4 years ago.
It's the day I first went yak fishing, and the day I was hooked.

While the setup has changed a few times since then, I still get the same buzz everytime I go out.
Have learnt sooo much in 4 years, mostly from KFDU and its members..
Love this sport!

Cheers,
PF

PS.. I'm going to say they are cans of fanta in the front of the yak....

Congrats, Paul. Like you, I too still love the sport!!

Likewise, I have learned my craft largely from KFDU ..... which is why I may post photos on Facebook ..... but I put my 'Reports' here on KDFU!

cheers

Thanks Roberta,

Looking back at what I knew when I started and how far I've come, fills me with excitement of what's still ahead of me.

I love testing myself and learning new techniques, I don't see how I could ever get bored with yak fishing.

It's also been great meeting new people with a common interest. The Midcoast Club has certainly given me that opportunity, and continues to do so.

Life is good, but can also be short. Live it while you can!

Cheers,
PF
