AKS Palm Beach Blitz

After a fun first time trying out the race format last year, we're bringing back the Palmy Blitz!

This comp is ultimately a RACE.

All competitors will start at the same time and race to be the first one back with a pelagic fish.

There will be a list of species provided that will be eligible to be brought back.

All man powered kayaks are welcome – This includes Surfskis and those funny ones that require leg pedalling ;)

First Three entrants with fish will be in the prize pool. The fishing window will be three and a half hours. If no fish are caught in this time – prices will be allocated via Lucky Draw.

13th of January is the date for this comp.

It is a social event so we will have a BBQ after.

Early Bird Entry- $15 (Closes 13th December)
Standard Entry- $20 (Closes 6th January)
Late Entry- $30 (Closes on the day)

Entry can be Purchased here -https://www.shopaks.com.au/collections/comps

AKS Noosa Challenge

This will be the Noosa comp's fifth year running and is sure to be good fun as always.

Last year was a good one as always with a number of good quality fish gracing the measuring board and a few good prizes going out

If you're driving a long distance we encourage booking in to Noosa and bringing the family up for the weekend or staying at a backpackers if solo rather than driving up early on Saturday and leaving in the afternoon.

Comp to take Place on the 18th February 2018

This comp will work on our benchmark-based scoring format and all man powered kayaks (no sails, no motors) are welcome to enter.

Early Bird Entry - $ 20 (Early Bird Entry Closes 17 January 2018 )
Standard Entry - $ 30 (Normal Entry Closes 10 February 2018)
Late Entry - $40 (Late entry – Close On the Day.)

Entry can be Purchased here -https://www.shopaks.com.au/collections/comps

Stealth Adder Rock Offshore Kayak Fishing Challenge 2018

The Stealth Adder Rock Offshore Comp needs no introduction.

But here's one anyway.

This will be the comp's 6th year running and is set to be a cracker as always - the waters off Straddie always provide good catches and plenty of variety from the humble marlin to the mighty goatfish.

If you're looking to get in to offshore kayaking, this is the way to do it with plenty of new and experienced paddlers alike and jet ski support for added safety.

The competition is based at Adder Rock campgrounds and runs over three days with a briefing/barbecue on the Friday night (16th March), fishing in two sessions on Saturday (17th March) and a final session before the prize-giving on Sunday (18th March).

$65 super early bird pricing- ends 16th January
$75 early bird special- ends 16th February
$85 entry from then until the comp

Entry can be Purchased here -https://www.shopaks.com.au/collections/comps

We hope to see you at the comps!

Adder rock has now introduced glamping and eco island tents for the not so seasoned camper. Or invited the missus who requires all the creature comforts of hotel accommodations.
If I call it afamily holiday rather than a boys trip I don’t have to get the missus permission to book it.

See u all there. Edstar.
