Does anyone use and recommend a kayak hoist for storing a pa14 on the ceiling of their garage?

Harken hoister
www.harken.com.au

Quality marine grade hoist system, easy installation & minimal effort required to lift kayak.

Highly recommend 😉

2nd that the harken kit has every thing in it for installation and is quality. I'm using a 6 to 1 pully kit but they recommend a 7 to 1 pully for the pa I don't find it to bad to pull up. will be a touch easyer with an extra pully I guess

Just make sure the straps are wide enough so they won't distort the hull.

yeah don't use rope under the hull it should come with 25mm wide straps and these are as hobby specify for safe storage. mine is hung up 99% of the time under a carport and no problems

Harken Hoister is the way to go, I had a Harken for my revo 16 and used the same one when I bought the the Pro Angler 14 but it was a bit on the light side so I got the one rated to 200lb with the extra pulley. Use to store all the gear for the PA 14 up in the garage ceiling with no problems at all.
