Just cut the hole for the Elite 4 CHIRP in the Stealth Flush Hatch (many thanks DennisT, it arrived yesterday). It is millimetre perfect, and looks fantastic.
Now time for some Sikaflex and fit out, I have some new ideas on running cables which I might try.
Pix of cutout and fit tomorrow, just gotta download a photo compression app on my IPad.
This install is feeling sooooooooooo good. I can't wait to get it in the water with the sounder all installed.
First run will be 19th June down the coast.

Cheers, XD.

Thanks Ian, the sounder works well. I've run the cables in the hatch starboard side and secured them with heavy duty adhesive Velcro. it works a treat and no extra holes or fixtures to put in. For the battery box I bought a 2LT Sestima lunch box, drilled and fitted a Hobie thru hull wiring plug, and Velcroed it to the hull just under the seat. Then Velcroed the battery into the box, very sturdy.
I just got to position the GoPros. I think I'll use Railblaza Starports for them.
I can't get over how well it paddles.
It's just a joy to use.

Cheers, XD

New seat is fitted, but, a final fitting will be done on the water.
A BIG THANKS to DennisT for great service and a Stealth comfortable seat, thanks mate.
Pix tomorrow.
Next is the Railblaza stuff, and where to put it for the Go Pros.
More thought about pimping to come,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it's just a never ending obsession.

Ian, I can only hope.
I wish I was back up there ATM, a thick frost down here this morning and another one (-2) due tomorrow. The water in the dams here will get down to 8 deg (falling in is not advised) and all the fish slow down and hibernate for a while, all except the trout.
I really miss Nth Queendsland, especially Townsville.

Cheers, XD.

Come on, it ain't that bad. I was fishing a local spot the other day land based, and I noticed a fluro yellow/green colour just below the water. It looked like a big cod lure, after hooking it with my I own lure numerous times and failed attempts of retrieving it, I made the decision to strip down to my undies, leather man in hand and retrieve it. You know it's cold when after you get out, the howling N/W wind makes you feel warm, I think it was 12*c that day. I was also lucky no one called the police or feral animal control. Was it worth it? Yes and no, free big cod lure but only a stump jumper.

Sorry for the hijacking. Looking forward to more updates, cheers.

Sam, would have loved to seen that lure retrieve. Stuff that mate, you get the determination award.
I bet you checked your footing a dozen times before that little extra reach...........you know the senario, "nearly got it, nearly got it" .......SPLASH!
Cheers mate, good story.
