My First Taste Of King Fish

:yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum:

Well after a shocker of a day and having my first taste of the MonaVale sand Monster :vamp: It was a nice surprise as Melloncutter gave me two big filletrs of KingFish for me and Nat to try. I took this gift as two things just a little gift as most know i have been trying for a while to catch my first Kingie which was nice of Melloncutter. Then second
i thought YakMan and Melloncutter just want me to get the taste for it and it is just going to make me want one even more . It was Bloody awsome now i really cant wait to catch one as i know i like the taste and texture of the fish. I wanted to cook my first one simple as i didnt want to mask the flavour as i was keen to see how it tasted with just some craked pepper and a dusting of flour and then cooked in the frypan just to my liking to get a bit of crispyness to the skin but not over done still keeping the flesh nice and moist :yum: I didnt have anything nice to go with it just some lettuce and carrot and cucumber. I drissled some of my favourite dressing around the edge of the plate just in case i wanted to see how it tasted with a little extra tang  I drissled some French Mustard & Honey dressing plus my favourite on everything sweet Chilli sauce :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: So Nat and myself both had one each i had the big one of course :D By it self with just little cracked pepper Bloody Nice fish nice big flakes like i like and a good size meaty fillet . As a 130kg fisho i like my cuts big
i just havent caught any yet like it . Then i tried it with the dressing loved it the vinegar and lemon in the dressing gave it the tang i love with fish yummy. I might of let my Big Flattie go yesterday but any Kingie I catch will be comming home with Daddy . legal of course :D I enjoyed it even more so as i am not a big beer drinker i could have a six pack in the fridge all year  So i enjoyed washing it down with a nice cold crowny :yum: :yum: Doesnt get better than that  Nice way to end the day after a few rounds with :vamp: :Oo:

Cheers Ben

That's a classic Phil, what was there on the beach that could keep you distracted enough to let a dog taint your catch?
