New Kayak

Postby frogger » Sun Oct 15, 2017 4:57 pm

I am looking at getting a new kayak, had a Hobie Outback but got rid of it due to back injury (too heavy).
I am only looking at creeks, dams and sheltered waters and was considering either the Freak Assassin GT Pro or the Freak Torpedo 10 Pro.
Would appreciate any advice or thoughts.
Both can be viewed at https://www.freaksports.com.au/shop/kayaks-sups/pro-angler-series/
Thanks

Depending on what your budget is the tarpon 120 ultralite would be a good pick only 20kg and tarpons have a great rep. If you don't mind 26kg though id go the hobie quest 11 (not that im biased lol) they are awesome! Other than that i think some of the australis range of yaks are pretty damn light around 18kg from memory and again quality yaks also aussie too which is good, tend to be a little more basic though.
Good luck!
