So who's been offshore recently? How did you go?

Headed out early b4 work,got in water bout 4:45am,drummed up one decent squid,cut him up length ways...i use strips likea plastic,nothing for bout 1hr n half...decided to chuck the squid head on whole 15 mins later absolutely got inhaled,fought fish for solid 5 mins,...definate horse of a snapper n leader let go,...continued fishing for anutha 15mins just with the squid strips now n then got a solid hit on the way down flicked the bail arm down n had fish kayak side n netted the bumpy red...

Fresh is best, but I don't mind some salt every now and then!
