Outta practice and outta luck.

Been away from kayaking and fishing for a while now but missed it so much bought myself another hobie and got back on the water. Great to be out there again but 6 hours on the port hacking today and 0 fish. Was targeting bream , flicking little lures around the boats but couldn’t even get a nibble. Hopefully gonna bring some better news next time.

Great day out though. 😃

G'day MarkoFreto,

It's definitely like that some days! 6 hours on the water on the weekend for a local kayak meet up and I got 4 fish and dropped two. I won the Estuary Cod section with a 30.5cm fish. A bit embarrassing! Everyone found it tough. One decent Jack and two just legal Flatties for 15 or so yakkers over the morning. Conditions were rubbish and fishing was tough. That's fishing!

Good to see you back out enjoying it.

BUT...
A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work

The fish are a bonus - it’s always nice just to be out there among it!

Ahhh who am I kidding...donuts suck! :idiot:

But keep up it...your luck will turn!

Cheers
