Durras quicky 15.9.2017

Postby Grimbo » Wed Sep 20, 2017 10:00 pm

I had an RDO last Friday, so shot down to Durras for a quick session. The weather was warm, but bloody windy and tough going in the yaks. Fished around for an hour or two for naught.

Worked my way into a shallow bay and tried to get out of the wind, flicking the ever faithful GG around, I managed to get onto a couple of small bream that gave a good account of themselves.

Headed back to the boat ramp and managed four undersized flatties on the way.

All in all not the most productive, but good to get back to the salt.

Still beats shivering in Canberra. The estuary fishing should pick up as the water warms with the hot weather this weekend.
