Ansons River Bream

#1 Post by RhubarbTheYeti » Fri Nov 10, 2017 4:31 pm

Haven't been fishing in ages, partly because the weather hasn't been conducive but mainly because I got myself a job at a local vineyard 6mths ago. Its the sort of job many of you would kill for in that we keep our own hours and can work whenever we want up to a max 38hrs. Until today I hadn't taken that advantage to go fishing (but have only been managing about 30hrs/wk because my clapped out body can't handle more).
So with a lovely calm day forecast I decided to sod work and go up to Ansons River to annoy a few Bream. Launched at the road crossing and headed downstream. Its a beautiful place in a steep forested valley

Caught myself half a doz good sized Bream (very dark in colour) all on a 45mm GG

Good thinking Yeti. Water looks great, I can feel the serenity oozing from the first pic. Had an immediate yearning to jump into the picture with my yak and rods! Nice fish, too.

Hi Ditto

They are Pontoon 21 GreedyGuts lures, sold by Zim man on KFDU thru his Masterangler website ..... he is the importer of Pontoon 21, Damiki & other lures. You can check out his range here - and some GGs and CJs (Crackajacks) are 'on special' - and you get a free lure with any order & free delivery if you order over $80!! BARGAIN!

http://masterangler.com.au/c/4461371/1/-clearouts-.html

Not ALL colours are available in the Clearance section ..... so check out the 'real' section as well!

cheers

Roberta

PS Pontoon 21 Crackjacks are terrific too! :gu:
