Coolendel Mud???

#1 Post by clutch » Tue Dec 05, 2017 12:48 pm

Hi Folks

Down the coast next week for salt. Thinking of one day for bass at Coolendel (Upper Shoalhaven). Do you think it will be running chocolate?

Thanks, Clutch

I don't think it would be too muddy. The rain we have been getting is short bursts rather than long and steady and due to that if it were me, I'd be giving it a crack, just have family stuff to do this weekend.

Was down at Lake Conjola 2 weekends ago and boy it was tough. Not a great deal of fish to be seen and those that were didn't seem to be on the chew. I put it down to amount of fresh water and with a low high tide and a high low tide plus small lake opening, the fresh was too plentiful.

So therefore that is why I'd be giving it a go in the fresh.

Regards, Wayne A.

Shame about Conjola. Some cracker flathead in there. I saw a 80 cm flattie scoff down a 30 cm flattie there.

Will probably give Coolendel a go.
