I caught a cobia which could eat the rest except for the mackerel which could also probably eat a lot of the things

Thanks JD. I figure, if I can't find the info I want when looking for a place I want to fish, perhaps others can't either. Doesn't hurt to be able to 'bone up' (hee hee) on the area you want to go...

I have the pots ready to go, I just often can't be bothered mucking around and just want to explore and fish in new places. Now that I have seen some of these places, I may be able to put more time in dropping pots if the tides seem right on the days I have available to fish.

I wish I could call it a genuine salty, but I am highly suspicious it's an escapee from Awoonga. I guess it's like saying I'm a genuine Qlder when I grew up in Mexico, ugh, Victoria.

It was most enjoyable, that's for sure. To be clear, the one that I caught was not the one I had stalked, though. She was through an ankle deep rapid that I'm sure she didn't traverse. I do know where SHE lives, though! If you come up this way again, I'll surely take you on a barra hunt!

Un bloody real. That write up is better and more informative than a lot of articles in the mags I subscribe to. Keep it up mate lots of us learnt things and enjoyed it immensely. Les
