Fishing Rocky bottom arpie? These things hide in holes in rock and demolish anything that comes within range

No, just a small channel between 2 islands here in Wallis Lake - lots of weed beds around and virtually no rocky bottom!

Pike make good live baits for big greenbacks (tailor) too.
I remember as a young fella going after tailor at scarby, we would jig up a few from the reef edges with just a bit of yellow wool on a longshank hook, once we had about 10-15 baits we'd slow troll them for tailor.
