cania dam advice

hi to everyone
has any one fished lake cania , heading that way and taking the slayer ,any tips would be great

G'day cwsco,

Didn't get to this post in time, sorry. Haven't been to Cania, but it is certainly on my wish list. A few locals went out to Callide recently and had a tough time on the fishing front.

Did you end of going to Cania, and if so, how did you fare?

yes got to cania , however back was out on the morning we left ,so no chance of lifting the slayer 13 onto roof racks :cry:
did talk to some guys that were fishing from boats, very few bass caught, plenty on sounder showing tho ,so the said
beautiful part of the world, was at 90 percentfull
will have to get back to try again sometime

Hi guys

I fished it some years back & had great fun there, chucking Sliders towards the banks - some on little 'spin jigs'. I got into some nice bass & put a first timer onto some even better ones!
