Newbie in Brisbane

#1 Post by Jake the Ibis » Thu Mar 14, 2019 9:58 pm

Hey all.

Thanks for the add.
Brisbane local here. Just over the Northside.

I've been yaking for a maybe 5 months now. Started off slowly in a Dream Catcher 3 with minimal kit. Got addicted and have been going every weekend for a little bit so a couple of weekends ago i upgraded to a Nextgen 9 for the higher seat. Now i can stop hasseling atleast one of my mates to buy his own kayak haha.

Looking forward to seeing all your mods and hearing some rad fishing stories.

Cheers, Jake.

Welcome. I’ve Been hassling my mates for years now... they still haven’t bought one. they just end up using my old yaks when I upgrade which happens on a fairly regular basis.

It’s just part of the addiction.

Thanks.

Haha excellent. Good to know I'm not alone in that train of thought.
