Newbie from SE Melbourne

Postby khanh » Sun Sep 10, 2017 4:07 pm

Hello,

Just popping a post to say hi,

Been looking into Kayak fishing for a long time and have suddenly been given an old fibreglass kayak to try it out.

I'm currently putting my kit together and should be able to hit the water in a week or so.

Initial outings will be at Paterson River in Carrum as it's about 10 minutes from home.

The yak is 3.5 meters long and has some modifications for fishing already.

Will post my adventures as I start learning the ropes

Welcome aboard mate, you are well placed for an assault on the reds in the coming weeks, just pick up a good light as there will be plenty of boat traffic down your way this time of year

Welcome to the forum buddy! Don't get many reports from Victoria so would love to hear about some of your adventures below the border in Mexico!
