KFEC - South Africa - East London

#1 Post by kimblema » Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:40 pm

Hi there, to One and All.
Firstly, thanks a million for including me on the KFDU site.
Secondly, I fish South African waters, in and around East London.
I`ve owned several kayak`s but, have now settled on the Pinnacle Elite.
I`ve kayak fished for several years and look forward to building on existing
knowledge and future friendships. Cheers Mark

Welcome to the site Mark. We have a few guys from your homeland over here at Coffs Harbour, all in Stealths.
I had a look at the Pinnicle on line (Paddle Guy) and looks like a nice off shore yak. I have a Hobie Adventure Island and a Stealth Profisha 525 (love it). I'm sort of semi-retired at the moment, but, that is about to change to full time retirement, so more fishing time.
We look forward to your posts with pictures on your off shore adventures in South Africa.

Again, welcome to the site.

Cheers mate, XD (AKA) BobbyB.

Hi
Bobby

Thanks for the warm welcome, it`s much appreciated.
I`m still fumbling around on the site at this point in time.
(Nowhere near as techno savvy as my off spring, I`m afraid).

I guess you do a lot of tolling and/or cover long distances,
based on your ski of choice - Profisha.
I to cover long distances +-35km on my Pinnacle Elite from
time to time. Average speed 8km/h and top speed (after
having already paddled for 2.5hours) was 11km/h.

My greatest love however, is that sacred dance with the wall
of ever changing water... being one with the ski and wave.

Cheers
