THANK YOU RAD

#1 Post by lantana » Sat Sep 10, 2016 1:00 pm

Ok im having alot of back trouble and need an operation specialist said try hold off for 12 months if i can, but no lifting heavy or awkward things that means getting kayaks on top of cars i will use my boat for the big dams till then, but want to stay close to water when fishing it will be mainly rivers and creeks and i will try most times with fly rod,So i need a paddle craft to pack up and take traveling when im romancing Sara out west it had to be stable and light and strong
I was looking at float tubes but no thanks, a member here BRAD give me this link Here, http://codscountry.com/
I spoke to one of the guys in the video and he put me onto the Waterstrider Kickboat its made in NZ and was designed by Dave Inks widely known for building white water rafts in the USA , after watching the cod videos i wanted one, they are not some cheap import but made in NZ, they are so light to carry and made from the best material workmanship is top shelf and 5 yrs warranty
So thanks Rob for the heads up mate im back on the water fly fishing
the waterstrider will handle grade 3 rapids, best thing is the inflatable seat you sit on a air seat that sits on water its soo good on my back,it came with fins that fit over your boots so when you stand to fish in shallows you cant cut your feet

length 2.35
width 1.25
capacity 230kg
weight 14kg
packs up in backpack
3 air chambers

The only problem would be the possibility of a bully having a crank on his legs :shout:

I had chronic lower back pain and sciatica for three years to the point where I wound up at the spinal specialists at the Royal Brisbane , no one had answers , fusion was last resort stuff I was warned to avoid at all costs . I did pool work where I waded in water up to my chest back and forth up and down the pool , that strengthened my core enough to free me of that pain

That'd make portage easy on bass treks. They use these in South America I think it was for Tarpon on fly. Nice little unit mate
