Hey Trev. It was a great day and I and all the others were very grateful to you and the sponsors for the safety day. I'd hate for others to miss out in future because of the unfortunate events of today in terms of how many no shows there were. I think upfront payment is a more than reasonable way to go. I and I'm sure others found it convenient to do it that way anyway.

Sorry to hear you are out of pocket as because of no shows.

Cheers.

Trev,

Wished I could make it but you know why I can't, please PM me the payment details and I have no problem paying for the day. Just an unfortunate set of circumstances. I agree you should not have to make up the difference for confirmed bookings.

To those guys who didn't turn up for whatever reason but had their name down please man up and make a contribution to Trev. I am sure if you PM him he'll give you his bank details for a deposit. Trev is not employed atm and has to make do chatting up the nannas at the local RSL, he needs that money for shandy's.

$42 bucks is not much for those with jobs, and a bargain for what was on offer. But $700 is a lot of money for Trev. He was doing you a favour to organise this day, spent heaps of his own time on it. Please do the right thing.

Thank you for the support fellas. I was disappointed, but not just for the sake of the money, but because you missed out on an important and rare opportunity to learn life saving skills.

Maybe come next time, and let nothing get in the road.

Yeah mate I do regret not making it. I was looking forward to being shown how to re-enter and other bits of information. I was in no state to drive that morning, though (fatigue) so I had to stay in.

Are the safety training courses I could go on that would give me the same information. I'm sure it wouldn't be as cheap as $42 but it's important.
