Painting rods

Hi all just would like to know has anyone
Painted any fishing rods as I have asked to
Paint a rod for his wife hot pink with some
Purple hope you can help

There's a few different ways you can do it, from the cheap options like using enamel spray cans, all the way to the more expensive options like using 2K automotive paint.

Method is the same pretty much regardless of which way you go - prep the blank by giving it a light wet sand, Clean it and then paint it.

You're best off doing a few light coats (helps stops runs) of colour and then sealing them with a couple of coats of clear when painting.
