Looking for a spot out of the wind (04/05/17).

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a spot out of the wind for the next 2 day (04/05/17 & 05/05/17). My usual spots (GC Broadwater, Morten Bay, jumping pin) are looking at being quite windy, so I'm keen to get out, but don't really have a spot for these type of windy days

So I'm looking for any suggested spots someone might like to share to get out of the wind that's within an hour drive for me.

I'd be interested in hearing people's ideas.

Thanks

KE00

It's a bit late but when the wind is blowing I go more inland think jwell, cabbage tree, or Coomera river generally the further in and smaller bodies of water have less chop on those days. So easier to paddle. For fishing wise Check the wind direction and sit behind a island for cover. Or find a nice shallow sandbar and use that wind to cast small lures across some flats. Hope u managed to get out in those days.
