c-tug kayak trolley question

#1 Post by cwsco » Sun Aug 12, 2018 1:35 pm

Hi to all owners with tug trolley
could someone please tell me the outside measurement of the pads the kayak hull sits on
thinking of getting the sandtrlx cart for native water craft slayer 13, but I'm not sure it would suit the hull as it is twin hull shape underside and fairly wide
thanks in advance :gu:

Should fit just fine, Viking Profish GT underside is a little like that and it sits nicely. Will get some width measurements shortly. I use one of my roof tie down straps with the cam lock for nice firm hold anyway, but pretty sure I had been using the provided strap incorrectly.

So, pads when sitting flat are 482mm side to side.
When Sandtrakz wheels fitted, wheels are 618mm side to side (hubs and locks protrude slightly).

And some people have just added 'width' to each pad to make them a tad wider as well
