Lowrance Elite TI 7 with sidescan. On a hobie outback. Love it but easy to get distracted looking at the pretty pictures.

The 4" was nice, the 7" is good... maybe the 10 next time ;) it eats batteries though on full brightness.

Currently use a Garmin striker 7sv. Awsome bit of gear. Great clarity. no maps but still has built in GPS.

I'm running a HDS 7 on a Hobie Outback. My only regret was not ponying up the extra money to get a 9.
Cheers,

I have a Lowrance Elite 7 and will not go back to a smaller one. My old man eyes are loving the bigger screen.

I'm even looking at an upgrade to an TI 7 unit with totalscan.

Sure does, the maps they use are DNA from their aviation which is unbeatable.... it also has quickdraw which give you extra detail in the mapping to 1ft contours, which is a crazy amount of detail. Similar to Lowrance insight genesis but you don't send your information away to get loaded the Garmin does it automatically..

The lowrance live updates the maps the same. The insight lets everyone (if you choose) have access to the same detail when you upload it. The navionics card of course also gives you access to sonarcharts

Been a bird fan for years just bought a Garmin 95sv 9 " screen, all scans side down and traditional and this thing maps the depth contours of the bottom, amazing all for 1200 bucks. Aussie Maps preloaded as well

I bought the run out model, they had 20, all gone. The new model is chirp, might be a couple hundred bucks more but worth it mate, better everything with the chirp. Wish I had bought the chirp now but all good. Charltons Tackle at Redbank mate on the Ipswich Motorway...
