fitted garmin striker plus 4

#1 Post by revolt » Sat Jan 19, 2019 1:09 am

Have been fitting a Garmin Striker plus 4 to my hobie. I wanted it completely detachable. I had a trailblazer rod holder and converted it mounting a plate to attach base the Garmin and a swivel mount to make the transducer tiltable so I swing it up out of the water when coming ashore. The whole set up is easily removed by using the push button trailblazer rod mount bracket. The battery is a 7.5 ah agm which I have mounted inside under the front hatch. The wiring is no problem as the bulk of it is inside the hatch with only about 1 metre running to garmin and transducer externally
