Cheers for puting this up Rosco.

Totally agree with you mate. Great place to fish especially when you get good people to share the day with.

There will be a BBQ held around lunchtime so if you are coming down for a fish please let us know so we can make sure we et enough for everyone.

There wil also be a Gents Side bet on the Sunday.Money will be collected on the morning.

Hope to see you all down there.

Gday Everyone

I've had a look at the forecast on a couple of sites (as many of you probably have as well) and it is not looking promising.

Pretty much the forecast is for 15-20knots.

Now from a club point of view we have said that anything over 10knots then the fishing comp is called off (taking into consideration the different levels of experience of members). But this weekend also includes the PIRTEK Challenge which as we know is to promote the awareness of Prostate Cancer as well as the chance of winning some great prizes.

So from a Club perspective I think the Gents Day Fishing comp will be postponed by one week. Please let us know your thoughts....
But for those that are game the PIRTEK fishing comp is still on.

I'm still keen to go down to the Basin for a fish on Sunday. Might not be launching from Palm Beach though.

Please let us know what you think....
