Replacement spool for Certate

#1 Post by clutch » Sun Nov 26, 2017 9:23 pm

Carrying a crate of equipment which broke, and Certate fell on ground, scuffed lip of spool. Casting distance reduced, and braid being worn. Year 2013, model 2004.

Daiwa quote replacement $110.00

Any thoughts? Anywhere else to source?

Thanks, Clutch

Thanks Pavo. I ended up using some 1000 grit wet and dry, and this smoothed area up. No downside!
Will see how it fishes. If still a problem will have to source new spool.
Thanks for your input.
