Social Outings - How do we get you there?

#1 Post by pdfarrell » Fri Mar 30, 2018 7:10 pm

Gday Midcoasters,

Just going to run a quick little poll to see what people would prefer in regards to setting dates for social outings...
Numbers have been down, apart from the major outings, St Clair and Forster, and over winter last year it was pretty much just Oldtimer and myself.

My question is, would setting a series of dates in advance help people free themselves up to join in? We could then just vote on Venue?
Or do we keep the status quo?

If you have any other ideas or suggestions, let me know.

Cheers,
PF

Hi Paul
It doesn't real matter to me, I have been tripping around a bit and fit the outings in when I can. Still very keen to attend where posible.
Cheers

Come on midcoasters support your dedicated admin team as they are trying to give you what you want in the way of social events, outings etc, the only way they can do this is by knowing what you all require.

Crok when is your next trip away and where?

Guys if your considering a fishing / camping trip in a regional area, then let me know. I am now working in the New England area, plan to buy a hobby farm and put up a cabin / small studio for family / friends to stay over. Copeton Dam not far away.

Hi All,
Am a newbie and have yet to attend an outing. I haven't been able to settle into a pattern because of constant changes in scenery..travel..hospital..travel..hospital..etc. Really am healthy but nature keeps throwing up surprises. Anyway, I am keen to go fishing and generally prefer the big water..I live in Terrigal. My vote goes to being pre-advised as far as dates go and it would be nice to know more detail in advance. Maybe just appointing a date and venue could work better since it would help me plan things earlier. Having said that, I will be off to Bananaland in a couple of weeks and I don't know how long I will be travelling for..depends on the weather and any health hiccups.
Looking forward to eventually meeting some of you and learning a bit......Denizen
