PVC Cross Fitting????

#1 Post by GetSharked » Mon Jan 22, 2018 2:44 pm

I been wanting to make a PVC rocket launcher for behind the seat of my kayak for a while but I've been holding off as I've always wanted to make it using cross fittings and not tee fittings. I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've found them on eBay but at $8 plus postage they're not cheap. Anyone have an idea of where I could get some?

we got MCcrackens irrigation in brisbane they got crazy plumbing fittings like that try a local irrigation store they have stuff like that. you wont find it in a plumbing store because its not a watermarked fitting(means approved to be used on water)

Just use a T piece and drill out the cross bar to enable the butt off the rod to drop down, easy!

Yeah I know, I just think it looks a little more pro with the cross fittings. I may just have to do it that way if I can't find any.

On the Southside of Brisbane try http://www.theirrigationshop.com.au/sho ... asp?cat=20

40mm - $9.93

Freight $10 up to 500g
$15 up to 3kg
$20 up to 5kg

If you're close by no need for freight ...

I have no affiliation with this company, just did a quick Google under irrigation .... hope you find what you need.

If you read my original post, I had already found them on eBay. I am simply asking if there's more options out there. A simple question can very often save you a lot of money.

P.S. attempting to make fun of someone by using extremely poor punctuation, grammar and spelling is never the best idea.
