Electric motor lock unlocker for tiller electric

#1 Post by Doonsey » Mon Jan 22, 2018 8:02 pm

Probably a poor subject line but I couldnt think of any other way to describe it....

So I recently picked up a 2nd hand Viking Tempo that came with a battered 30lb motorguide tiller. I checked that it worked and it did, so I decided to set it up on the rear with foot pedal steering. The steering works beautifully however the problem I had was with the motor lock button, if I leave it disengaged I cant use reverse, if its engaged I cant lift the motor from my seat.

After much thought this is what I come up with and I thought I would share.
