Hobie Outback front hatch bucket

#1 Post by philthyphil » Wed Feb 28, 2018 5:10 pm

I was shown the other day a cheap $5.50 drop in front hatch bucket to go in outbacks.
Its a soft bucket with two handles made of fairly soft material.
Drop it into the front hatch, trace around the edge with a felt pen tke it out and trim with a razor knife!
Bingo, $5.50 instead of $70
They are available at most hardware stores,i bougt mine in Bermagui Mitre 10.
Sorry no photos, i can't get my iPad to take a photo.
Fishing, golf & sex. Three things you can enjoy without being good at!
Be yourself, everyone else is taken.

Phil I have been using a oval shape one of these buckets from Bunnings in my outback front hatch, just fits straight in no trimming drop it in and push sides under the lip all round.

I haven't done it yet myself but I have seen photos. Bunnings have those flex tubs really cheap.
