New roller system.

#1 Post by revolt » Wed Mar 14, 2018 11:04 pm

I am fairly short and have a great deal of trouble loading my 13ft revolution on the roof of my Pajero. The rack is 2.1 mts high. I have a rear roller set up getting the front of kayak onto the roller is the hard part. I have crook shoulders as well so lifting above shoulder height is difficult. I now set up an additional roller which is attached to existing roller system by two lengths of steel tubing at 1.2 mts long. This comes down diagonally to a T piece which props it up to a height of 1.5 mts. This allows me to easily lift kayak onto this additional roller at chest height. Then simply push Kayak onto roof position. I cant send picture my phone has its limits.
