Brilliantly compelling video of an overnight sailing trip on Lake Macquarie. Makes you want to get one and do the trip too!

There is a niche forming for kayak sailing . It very often has little and sometimes nothing to do with kayak fishing. There seems to be more and more people posting on the kayak fishing sites , all of them not just any one in particular , on posts that are really cantered around the joy of sailing a kayak and like I say not a lot to do with the fishing side , it's making me wonder how long it will be before there are websites popping up that are exclusively for kayak sailing , minus the fishing completely , there's certainly a market for it . Nice video .

I know what you mean Jamie. While I have hardly ever fished, it was always my intention to use my TI as a fishing platform, and I have already fitted bullhorns so I can troll two rods at a time, and Arpie very kindly visited me yesterday to offer expert advice to get my fishing up and running.

I have already bought some braid and a new reel, and spent some time boning up in the local Tackleworld since her visit.

The problem is quite simple though... despite my best intentions, I am having so much fun sailing the TI, that I haven't got round to fishing... yet! It has been blooded, in a very small way, as a passenger hooked four small fish while we were trolling, but I want to get stuck into fishing, even though nearly all my posts to date are not fishing related.

I plan to drop in on the gang at Tuncurry to say hello during the weekend.
