Hoping to get some time to do up a proper report but needless to say there are some nice Jacks in Coochin ;)

Cracker of a Jack, well done. You have definitely got me keen again.

Bottom red is where I launch (little boat ramp) the blue is the camp ground :) and top red is the exit off the Bruce.

I really should launch further towards the Bruce but there isn't anywhere terribly easy that way to launch and I don't mind a decent paddle.

How skinny does the water get after the two creeks meet past the campground? I fished to that point last year but didn't go any further.

Sweet as. I might give that a go instead of driving down to the ramp.

Hi guys - I'm planning to go to Coochin tomorrow around 7am if anyone else is keen to join up. It's my first trip there so I've no idea where I'm going :?: I've got a Native Mariner. Cheers, Mike

How far up the creek do the stinkies get? I'm hoping it's nice and quiet.

Pretty far i guess. If ur there when its low tide. After u get around the first bend going up the river it opens up but its quite shallow but i caught some nice flatties there wed morning. If u go left from the boat ramp theres a lot of snags so u might get a jack

Back from Coochin and got a jack - jack shit! First trip there, but like the waterway so hopefully better luck next time. Was there from 7 to 12 and tried hardbodies, soft plastics, vibes & poppers, so no lack of trying! Should be better once I fit my fishfinder and can locate some holes & snags etc. Cheers, Mike
