#1 Post by PaulieB » Sat May 28, 2016 3:00 pm

Gday all,

I recently moved to Brissie for a new role and hopefully new lifestyle.

I was hoping I could tag along to a few events or meet ups .

Happy to travel anywhere from Noosa to Gold Coast etc.

I have all the AFN books on fishing this area and I have been researching Shronecliffe and RABY bay etc but would love to met some locals and get known few of you.

Please PM me uf you'd be willing to share a few spots and your time.
I have a PA14

Cheers :gu:

Before you judge someone, paddle a mile in their kayak. That way, when you have judged them, you're a mile away and you have their Kayak.

Hi PaulieB,

Welcome to Brisbane.

There is a kayaking meetup next Sunday morning, 5 June, and you would be more than welcome to join in.

Usual is a 6:00 - 6:30am start and back to the launch site by about midday for sausages and refreshments.

Try this link - viewtopic.php?f=83&t=48092

I am in at Boondall and after 3 PA14's I have recently bought a PA17 and have fitted it out to my wants and needs.

I will be at the kayaking meet at Jacobs Well so hope to meet you there.

Ross

There are a couple of Facebook group that may interest you. Search "Brisbane Yak Fishing" in Facebook. Regular group of guys in Hobie Outbacks and PAs on there. Usual Launch is Wellington Point, just north of Raby Bay, early launches before first light on most weekends.
A bad day fishing still beats a good day at work.
