Sunday 25th - South West Arm from Maianbar?

#1 Post by robwho » Fri Oct 23, 2015 10:10 pm

Thinking of launching on the way at sun-up ( 6am -ish) from Maianbar and going with the last of the tide (Bundeena high tide is 07:03) up into the South West Arm flats and coming back with the ebb.

Yes,just me, was under way about 0620. Pretty good trip, made it the top of the arm, after three previous attempts were aborted for various reasons. Caught several whiting, including two keepers, amongst a few small taylor. Also, trolling the transit back caught a nice 50cm flathead about 200m before the turn into the channel into Maianbar.
