I went out yesterday and last Monday, slimies everywhere both times. Landed two spotties on Monday, hooked up to something big yesterday but it snagged me on the bottom and ended up with a donut.

Headed to Wooli, launched off a place called Diggers Camp just north of Wooli Sat morn, great paddle over different country, similar paddle to where the tinnies as Arra to the circle, managed good live bait early, one Mack tuna and a nice spottie on a humble pilli, Launched off Wooli Beach Sunday but the wind made it too uncomfortable, tried my first return in solid surf and went A over T, managed to climb back on and made the short paddle to the beautiful sand, knelt down and kissed it. First time ever that I was a little concerned. :egrin: having said that I'm already planning another trip
Win Win, catch a fish, happy days, the chance of catching a bloody big fish, even happier days

Shame about the finger getting stretched but other than that it was great fun. Spent this weekend at Harrington , about 6 KM from Harrington there is a great Launch site call Crowdie Head, seriously put this little spot in your note books as definitely worth an explore. A couple blokes were catching long tails just near the the little boat harbour, there used to be a sizeable fishing fleet operating here but there Co-op closed about 5 yrs ago, what is left however is the perfect protected launch site. the estuary at Harrington also looks like a flattie paradise plus the local pub looks equally inviting

Have visited and fish Harrington a few times the club is great for meals talking to some that go off shore the fishing can be a bit hit and miss depending on big trawlers been in the area. It dose look a great spot to get out from.
