Arrawarra today/tomorrow

#1 Post by JustinD » Sat Jan 28, 2017 1:21 pm

Has anyone been out off Arrawarra today or know how the water temp is looking? It was pretty cold on Australia day and i had no luck.

If the conditions are good i hope to make another trip down tomorrow for a paddle and fish.

Cheers

Australia Day a few us managed some nice snapper, the Paul gallons however were painfully present, fished Arra this morning and it was a nice paddle but the water was green and cold and painfully minimal bait fish Nothing caught and the hordes of stink boats were also reporting the same type of story
Win Win, catch a fish, happy days, the chance of catching a bloody big fish, even happier days

Fished the Patch in the boat on Saturday. Lowrance and Garmin were reporting between 24 - 26 degrees while we drifted.
Current was running at about 2 - 3 knots.

Is anyone going out Saturday? Normally go off Diggers but will go anywhere. Normally go out by myself, however with recent shark reports getting g a bit nervous about it all or I'm just getting soft in my old age. Cheers

Hey Grant. Not getting soft mate. Some are able to put their concerns aside. I sold my offshore yak because of concern for the man in the grey suits. I yak the fresh for bass now and have a 6 meter plate alloy boat with serious horses on its butt for offshore. Only you can decide what suits you. If you ever want to take a trip out in the boat mate let me know, alternatively if you want to hunt the fresh for bass I am keen anytime
