Rayl has just bought one and it's considerably smaller than the old hero2 i have so will be looking at getting one myself, the footage he's shown me looks to be very good.....will watch this thread to see what others say before i go and get one though

Just googled a review . Lense is not protected so once scratched that's it, battery life 2 hrs, battery is internal so once it dies that's the end of the camera, the review basically recommended going with the GoPro Silver

The GoPro Hero 4 session does not come in a separate housing.
Bonus no fogging issues , down side no extended batteries possible and battery live only 2 hours. Will be fine if it's your secondary camera eg. Head mounted one and you switch it on when the action happens.

My mate bought one. He had issues with it freezing.
Also had issues with the Wifi component not always working or freezing the unit

The did get some great footage with it and once he upgraded the firmware the freezing is almost gone

Personally I'd rather get a hero 4silver or even Hero 3 silver.
The Hero 3 is very cheap and video quality is great. Plus on site like Deals Extreme
http://www.dx.com/s/gopro

You can get any accessory you'd want for dirt cheap

Cheers
