Is this the mount you are using? http://www.railblaza.com/products/mobi- ... ce-holder/

Red pepper. Same as life proof at a tenth of the price.
I've used one for the last two years. Not a problem.

I run my iphone 6 with Navionics app. i also carry my Braven bluetooth speaker for entertainment value and the fact it acts as a powerbank and charges my phone also! my phone rests in a railblazer holder however the RAM Xgrip looks the goods also. Phone is in a lifeproof case. Love having my phone on the water especialy these days with all the facebook groups for the Dams and areas i fish. Its great to see what people are catching and what they are catching on in real time.

I have killed an Iphone yak fishing
Unplanned eskimo roll LOL due to overreaching for a hat in the water and a wave helping it along.
Iphone went for a swim in 1.2 metres of water.
Killed a $900 phone but saved a $30 hat.
Was a few years back :)

Use waterproof casing now

I have now switched from my iPhone 6S Plus (gave it to the wife) to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge... now while it is IP68 rated I think I probably still need a case (especially because of salt water...). Lifeproof don't make a case for the Edge (only the normal S7)... any other suggestions?
