Looking for a Camera Mount to Fit Hobie Mast Hole

#1 Post by pdfarrell » Tue Aug 15, 2017 10:21 am

Have ordered a High Definition 360 degree VR camera and would like to mount it in the mast hole/post of my PA.
The camera records seamless 360 degree video bar a small area under the camera, so I thought the mast hole would be an ideal spot for it.

The camera mounts to a standard tripod mount, and doesn't have to be too high.
Anybody know of anything commercially available, otherwise I'll head down the DIY path?

Cheers,
PF

Have a look at a RAM Mast Tube Wedge Mount 1" and pair that with a RAM Panfish Pole or Panfish Potrait - that's the only 'off the shelf' package I can think of...

PVC pipe and black polypropylene irrigation pipe is the bees knees! Every join you can imagine, all my camera mounts are made from this stuff except my stills mount! Make your own!
