Woke up Saturday morning with a throat on fire, and runny nose trying to douse the fire, body overheating then shivers.

After 2 days in bed the sensible thing is give the outing a miss this week.

Cancelled the BBQ as well so anyone attending bring own snacks and drinks.

See you all at MW in June

Gee that's no good Bob. Sounds more like the flu than a cold. Keep away from Lorraine Mate. That would be the last thing she needs! Hope you get over it quickly.

Les, yes had fly jab a month ago mate. Fairly confident it's only a very heavy cold as other than shivers and symptoms in first 48hrs have had no other body aches normally associated with flu, think worst is already over.

Staying away on Wednesday, as figure not something to risk possibly sharing with mates, particularly any who heading overseas soon. :tong:

Les, if you are still coming down I will be fishing the Broadwater in front of seaworld. Launching at the seaworld boatramp area.Weather looks a bit ordinary, wouldn't blame you for not coming but I'm going to give it a go!

Due to insufficient starters the MW outing to CIW has been varied.

It's now transferred to Broadwater, see the May 9 post above by jumaji re the changed arrangement.
